Özpancar Yarn, with its belief in a sustainable future, shapes its production processes on the basis of respect for nature, people, and society. As one of the most important steps of this approach, we are strengthening our environmentally friendly production model with the 10 Megawatt capacity solar power plant we have established, which meets 80% of the electricity used in our production processes. This project not only reduces our environmental impacts but also allows us to reduce our energy costs and increase our energy independence.

Among the benefits provided by our solar power plant are; the reduction of carbon emissions caused by fossil fuels, contribution to the local economy, and opening the way for more investment opportunities. With this project, we are taking an important step towards our sustainability goals and making a difference in our sector with environmentally friendly production methods.

Sustainability in Open-End Yarn Production:
Open-end yarn production has a wide range of uses in the textile industry as a method that increases efficiency and reduces costs. This production process is based on the principle of producing yarn by continuously spinning the fibers. This approach allows production at lower costs and with less labor. Open-end yarn production offers shorter production times compared to traditional yarn production techniques, while also significantly reducing energy consumption. In terms of environmental sustainability, lower energy consumption and less waste generation ensure the minimization of environmental impacts.

Sustainability in Recycled Fiber Production:
Özpancar Yarn successfully carries out recycling-oriented production processes with an environmentally friendly and sustainable production approach. Waste textile products remaining from textile machines are processed in our Şifanoz facility to be made suitable for recycling.

In our facility, waste textile products are separated from foreign materials such as metal and plastic with Mesutronic and Ampeon systems, and then subjected to the shredding process. As a result of the shredding process, these wastes are converted into fiber in our facility.

The recycled fibers obtained are used for yarn production in our modern open-end facilities. These yarns are delivered to our customers both domestically and internationally, transformed into new textile products, and thus contribute to the circular economy. This process supports environmental sustainability while helping both the efficient use of resources and the reduction of impacts on nature.
